Care/Of Daily Vitamins UPDATE

CareOf Daily Vitamin Review

takecareof.comIf you haven’t read my initial review of the company, go read it now!

I talk about the company and how Care/Of Vitamins are curated for you. If you don’t know the background of the daily vitamin packs, go read it.

I was taking Care/Of Daily Vitamin Packs for just one week at the time I wrote that post. I’ve now been taking them for a month and wanted to provide some updates.

NOTE: The following review does contain links that equal perks to me. If you use my link to purchase any products, I may receive a small amount or reward at no extra cost to you. I did not receive any type of free product or compensation for a positive review. All of the following was based on an unbiased opinion. You can view my disclosures statement here.

Long story broken into top 5:

  1. I recommend Care/Of vitamins – isn’t that what you came here for?
  2. Their customer service is on point – check out my personal experience below.
  3. Their cute quotes are a great and positive way to start your day – who doesn’t need a little extra positive vibes in their life?
  4. Care/Of takes the guess work out of an overwhelming vitamin aisle – and I mean, o.v.e.r.w.h.e.l.m.i.n.g.
  5. If you’re ready to take the plunge, click here to head on over to Care/Of and start your personal quiz. Use code TWN25 at checkout to receive 25% off!

Or use this link for $40 off your first purchase.

I wanted to start by giving you the lineup of what the Care/Of curating quiz recommended to me. I realized I didn’t do that in my first post – my apologies.

  • Rhodiola – a “powerful herb” that is supposed to target fatigue and stress, promote mental energy and focus, and impact overall mood. One capsule is 250 mg.
  • Astaxanthin – targets skin and memory, as well as cognitive health. One softgel contains 10 IU of vitamin E and 6 mg of Astaxanthin.
  • Vitamin D – bone health – I live in the Midwest and don’t see the sun 6 months out of the year. One capsule is 1000 IU of vitamin D.
  • Magnesium – this is supposed to combat by lack of sleep. It was recommended I take 2 tablets of 200 mg, equaling 400 mg. For my next box, I am cutting this in half to see if there is a difference.
  • Ashwagandha – targets focus, memory, cognitive function, stress, and food cravings. One capsule contains 600 mg of Ashwagandha.

Here are my updates:

  1. I’ve taken these vitamins CONSISTENTLY for an entire month.
Like, not even one missed day. This is huge! In the past I’ve lasted one week, maybe ten days, at most. I don’t know if I can attribute it to my mature, adult nature (HA!), the cute little quotes that come on the packaging, or just the fact that I enjoy taking them. Whatever it is, it works – I’m sticking to it. I’ve even contacted Care/Of to see if I can get my next delivery early so I can take them on vacation with me.
  2. I’ve noticed a difference in my skin.
Two of the supplements Care/Of recommended have known benefits for improving skin health. My face has not broken out and I am starting to notice the dark circles under my eyes begin to fade. My face is also not as oily after a long day.
  3. One of the supplements is supposed to help me with sleeping at night.
I have troubles falling asleep quite frequently. Usually it’s 30-60 minutes of tossing, turning, or going in and out of a light sleep combined with not staying asleep once I’m finally there. I started taking these around the time I started summer break (I work in a school). My sleeplessness has gotten worse to where I’m staying up until 3, 4 5 in the morning. I can’t say for sure that the Magnesium isn’t helping (or another supplement is interacting and causing the opposite effect). It may just be my body adjusting to my new schedule and lack of panic inside my brain.
  4. Focusing has been super easy for me lately.
I’m one of those people that will start 25 things and do parts of each of them in small bits going from project to project. Care/Of provided supplements that target focusing (if you didn’t read the vitamin breakdown above). I don’t know if I can attribute my ability to focus on one thing for a longer amount of time to the supplements or my overall interest in what I’m doing…but something is different.

I’m a skeptic.

If you read my updates, you will see that I’m not quite sure what to contribute some of these changes to.

Is it psychosomatic? Maybe.

Is it due to other small changes in my life? Very well could be.

Could it be the supplements saying what Care/Of tells me they do? You know, that could be it to.

Did this review just confuse you and not answer your questions? Probably.

Before I leave you to run to Care/of, I’ll leave you with a few more reasons of why I really enjoy these daily vitamin packs. Even if I’m not 100% convinced they work.

Care/Of backs up their recommendations with your own concerns.

The website tells you explicitly why something is being recommended and ties it back to the short quiz you took when beginning the process.

Care/Of Vitamins, Individualized Vitamins, Vitamin Subscription

Care/Of tells you where they find their supplements and how each one is harvested.

Seriously, who doesn’t want to know exactly where the product they’re consuming comes from and how it is harvested?

Care/Of provides you different research studies that do or do not make a supplement effective

I’ll shout it from the rooftops: I LOVE RESEARCH! Care/Of takes the research that’s been conducted and gives you so much information about it. You don’t have to go looking. You don’t have to find a needle in the haystack. They leave it right there for you and it’s easily accessible.

Care/of provides a label telling you what type of product it is, dosage, and what the supplement contains.

Again, they just lay it right out there for you. Plain as day.

Care/Of prides themselves on being transparent.

Looking at the images above should prove to you that they are. Care/Of puts everything out in the open. When you find yourself in the vitamin aisle at your drug store or grocery store, are you getting this type of information? NO!

All of these vitamins for the month cost $39. Due to the convenience, the novelty of taking the packages, and the support/information the website provides, I’m going to keep purchasing monthly subscriptions until I feel the vitamins are not doing what they’re supposed to.

AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMAZING!

I was going to receive my second month right before I leave for vacation. Chicago mail is unpredictable at best, so I didn’t want to chance it. The website only had a “delay shipment” option and not a move ahead option. So, I emailed customer service over the weekend. First thing Monday morning, I got a response. Kudos and shout out to you Bryce R. – you’re a rock star!

Bryce, you were a breeze to work with! MVP!

I can’t leave out Jaimie, either, for following up with a bright attitude!

In a world full of convenience and quick fixes, doesn’t a quick package you open with only what you need for the day ideal? You don’t have to worry about opening pill bottles and scrambling around. You grab, you open, you take.

Do I recommend Care/Of Daily Vitamins? I DO!

I stated this in my original post, but Care/Of is not compensating me or providing me any type of incentive for this review. These are my honest thoughts and I will update you if my thoughts change. However, if you click the link below, I do get an amount off of my next purchase. If you sign up for Care/Of vitamins, you will be given a link for the same thing.

Use this link and my code TWN25 & receive 25% off sitewide.

Or use this link for $40 off your first purchase.

Let me know if you have any questions! I’d love to answer any that I can. Drop a comment if you have your own experience with Care/Of.
